Solar Maintenance

How frequently should you maintain your system? This depends on a few things

• Solar Panels on a roof 10 degrees or more? If your roof is greater than 10 degrees we suggest every 2 years, any less and consider 6 - 12 monthls.

• Read your manufacturer's instructions and what they require for warranty.

• How often do they look dirty? If your panels look dirty frequently beyond just a light dusting of dirt, more action might be required, consider getting a self cleaning coating applied.

• Are there a lot of bird droppings? If you see alot of bird droppings covering some of the panel this can affect the electrical behaviour of the panel and leav it permanently damaged, consider bird spikes etc on the objects over haning the panels.

Please make sure you have spare roof tiles so we can replace any broken ones if discovered while working.
