Week 40-25
Welcome to another crazy spring season when every time you organize a job it rains, particularly not helpful when you have double storey steep rooftops 😬.
So we did what everyone else is doing, hid inside doing batteries 😂.
Moved a Tesla charger only to discover it was hardwired to the mains with no safety switches or devices 🫣, literally a death trap. This is dangerous if someone were to make inadvertent contact with the lead, particularly dangerous if DC leaked from the vehicle while charging. This would cause the safety switches within the home to fail, putting a young family at risk with youngsters curious about discovering their surroundings such as appliances and power points 😬.
If you have a car charger installed, please make sure it has a 6mA DC safety device within the charger or have a type B safety switch installed in the switchboard.
Just remember it takes a blink of an eye to lose everything 😔, I should know I served 8 years an SES Volunteer, where my daily was listening to how the simplest things can take everything from us in seconds.
