Answer:

During a blackout, its built-in control box switches your home to backup power in under 10 milliseconds, fast enough that most appliances won't even notice. Delivering up to 15kW (63A) in off-grid mode to run full-home loads, not just essential circuits. This extra output in off-grid mode gives it real headroom for induction cooktops and high output appliances.

Answer:

How long is the warranty on the Hinen H10S, and what voids it?

Answer:

In Australia, Hinen's Inverters are 10 Years warranty and 12 years warranty for the 14.4kWh Battery with atleast 80% usable capacity retention over that period.
For the inverter component specifically, Hinen's standard global terms list a 5-year base warranty that's automatically upgraded to 10 years once the system is registered and connected to Hinen's monitoring cloud. Cover excludes damage from incorrect installation, unauthorised repairs, or use outside the specified operating conditions.

Answer:

Yes. The 14.4kWh LFP Hinen battery can have a maximum of 5 modules (up to 72kWh) so a household can start smaller and add capacity later as their energy needs grow.

How many solar panels can I connect to the inverter?

Answer:

The H10S has 4 MPPT inputs and supports up to 200% oversized PV input, meaning you can connect as much as 20kW of solar panels to the 10kW inverter. This is particularly useful for larger roof tops or homes wanting to maximise self-consumption and battery charging on cloudy days.

Answer:

Yes, the system supports dual power supply from the grid and a diesel generator, with intelligent load management and automated start/stop of the generator via dry contacts. This makes it a solid option for rural or fringe-of-grid properties where you want solar, battery, and generator backup working together automatically rather than requiring manual switching.

How much space does the Hinen H10S take up, and can it be installed outdoors?

Answer:

The system is IP65-rated with a slim, stackable design, and the battery modules are rated for operation to discharge -20°C to 60°C, with charging temperatures from 0 to 55 Degrees, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation in most Australian climates. 14.4kWh battery modules are available with heating pads so they can charge in low temperatures.
