A Virtual Power Plant (VPP) offers power to the community via the National Electricity Market (NEM). Powow VPP only operates when the network is unstable and needs assistance, this is important for two reasons, it won't drain your battery on a daily basis, it only operates on an infrequent basis.
This means it will only use what electricity you have left over to support the grid, unlike other VPP offers that stop you from using your own battery at night while exporting and keeping all the profits, Powow shares these profits for $1 per KWh used to export throught the year.
