Pros

• Plays well with IQ7A and IQ8 to create an off-grid option in case of blackouts
• Can power the battery from the micro inverters from the roof in a blackout
• 15-year Battery Warranty (60% retention)

Cons

• Lacks the ability to limit for overload at the switchboard; this can be an issue if your incoming mains is only rated for 40A, such as new homes built today.
• Only plays nice with its own infrastructure of micro inverters for on and off-grid operation
• Probably one of the most costly installs per kWh of installation.
• For every day offline, it will take 1 hour to re-sync once back online, so if it was offline for 90 days, it would take another 90 hours to re-sync with the cloud service.
