BYD EV Chargers
How do they stack up? This is an interesting one, BYD sell this item in Bunnings Victoria Australia for under $800 as 7kw model or 3.5kw. After installation, a few things became obvious, it comes with a card and card reader; this can be disabled but needs to be re-done if it loses power, so don't loose the card. You need to know what your house and mains can support, so you know if the 3.5 or 7kw works for your home, strongly advise talking to a sparky that has done your Maximum demand for your property before purchasing.
How to disable the NFC card reader?
Hold the supplied card over the reader for more than 30Sec to disable.
