In this example, I will explain the inverter and battery setup for expansion. Gen24 5kW Inverter This example is the 9.47kWh Reserva Battery

If you purchase this configuration, it will be expandable to the maximum amount, if you notice carefully, the battery is placed further most to the left, to allow for another stack of 3 modules to be placed under the inverter for expansion. This offset approach with a minimum of 9.47kWh allows for more towers of 3 modules to be together.

If for example you wanted 5kWh of storage with two modules, years later you can only put another 2 modules beside them for expansion, missing out on a bigger expansion size. So care needs to be taken on a technical level to make sure you have a system that can be maximised in future.
